The New Day Children’s Center is a wonderful child care facility sponsored by and housed in Asbury United Methodist Church. New Day is an independent, not-for-profit that provides quality, affordable childcare and developmentally appropriate programming for children in the Jefferson County Area.
We are licensed to accommodate 124 children between the ages of 8 weeks and 12 years of age. The center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of parents, Asbury members and others from the community.
It serves as an outreach of Asbury UM Church to serve an important community need.

Asbury UM Church offered appreciation and thanks to the teachers and staff of New Day Children’s Center.
They are a wonderful group of true professions! Hopefully the distribution of “Valentine-themed appreciation bags” lifted their hearts, their spirits, and showed our gratitude for the good work they do every day with our community’s children.
